buying a domain name

Hi,
I have two free wordpress accounts: tailsofrosie.wordpress.com, and therosiereport.wordpress.com. I want to upgrade tailsofrosie.wordpress.com to therosiereport.com, which is available. (All of my blog’s content is currently on tailsofrosie.wordpress.com — I know, confusing.) Can I upgrade to that domain name (therosiereport.com) without an issue, or must I transfer all of my content from tailsofrosie.wordpress.com to therosiereport.worpress.com and upgrade to the paid account from there? Please advise! Thank you!

I want to upgrade tailsofrosie.wordpress.com to therosiereport.com
If that is just what you want to do then, you can just upgrade to any of the paid WordPress.COM plans without worrying about transferring you content or losing anything.
Your domain therosiereport.com will be live and connected to your WordPress.COM site automatically when you register it via WordPress.COM.
You are just upgrading your account with more features and a custom domain name. You won’t loose anything. So, there wont be any issue if you follow all the prompts/steps correctly while upgrading. :)
