Buying a domain name that is already taken

    Hello!

    There is a domain name that I am interested in acquiring that seems to be taken but says ‘This is a demo store for testing purposes — no orders shall be fulfilled’ on the bottom of the website. I was wondering if there is a process in place in the case that I wanted to have this domain name.

    You must contact the owner of that domain and ask if he wants to sell his domain. No registrar or hosting provider can give you contact information of the owner.

    As @staartmees mentioned above, you will need to contact the domain owner to see if they’d be willing to sell the domain. You can look for contact forms/email addresses on their website or use a service like whois.com to look up domain contact information.
