Buying a domain & upgrading

  Hi pals,
  I have some doubts regarding domain buying and upgrading…when I check myself I found that I can get a custom domain from WordPress itself but somewhere I read bluehost is a working partner or suggesting domain buying & hosting site. What are the difference between buying it from WordPress and bluehost. I mean advantages and disadvantages…

  You can technically buy domain from anywhere and map it to WordPress.com but it is a good idea to buy the domain from the place you host your site.

  It is a bit easier to manage domain and hosting at one place. Also you save on domain mapping cost. Say if you buu domain from BlueHost and host your site on WordPress.com, then you will have to pay the price of domain to BlueHost and the cost of mapping that domain to WordPress.com is additional $13 you pay to WordPress.com.

  I am sure there may be more advantages but this is all I can think of for now.

  But I have gone through your blog …..in that I came to see one of your post says you had one but now you don’t….just a curious to know…Apart from this I just want to know how much I can make money through a website if it has 200-300 views per day.

  I used to have one, chaitanyamsv.com which is going to expire soon and I am not going to renew.
