Buying a premium theme for seperate domain with WP installation.

    Hi,

    I am new here so please bear with me, I would like to buy a premium theme but for my own domain and hosting that has WordPress installation option via CPanel but the theme I am interested in is only giving me the option to either make an account on wordpress.com or map my existing domain name to the site created on wordpress.com.

    This is not what I want. I would like to install the theme on my own hosting and control it using WordPress there. This is the theme I am looking to buy.

    I have heard that themes usually come in zip packages that you can upload and install on your hosting, but it’s not the case here.

    I will appreciate if someone can guide me in the right direction. Thank you.

    Themes purchased on WordPress.com can only be used here, so if you have your own self-hosted install, definitely don’t purchase Venture here as you won’t be able to use it on your self-hosted site.

    Venture is a theme from Tasko – you can contact them via their site here to ask if they have a self-hosted version of Venture available, since I don’t see it listed with the others:
