Buying a premium theme for seperate domain with WP installation.

  Hi,

  I am new here so please bear with me, I would like to buy a premium theme but for my own domain and hosting that has WordPress installation option via CPanel but the theme I am interested in is only giving me the option to either make an account on wordpress.com or map my existing domain name to the site created on wordpress.com.

  This is not what I want. I would like to install the theme on my own hosting and control it using WordPress there. This is the theme I am looking to buy.

  I have heard that themes usually come in zip packages that you can upload and install on your hosting, but it’s not the case here.

  I will appreciate if someone can guide me in the right direction. Thank you.

  Hi, there.

  It looks like that particular theme is exclusive to sites hosted here on WordPress.com.

  Here are the themes from the same company that are available for self-hosted sites.

  If a theme here on WordPress.com is available for self-hosted sites, there will be a download link in the right sidebar of the theme showcase page.

  You may be able to find something similar to Venture for your site on the theme directory at WordPress.org.
