Buying a Premium Theme – Hosting?

  If I buy a premium theme, do I have to have it hosted by WordPress.com?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I didn’t get an adequate answer to my question. If I buy the Poly theme, can I have it hosted by bluehost or do I have to buy hosting through WordPress.com?

  Your question now is a little different from what you asked earlier in your other thread, but since you asked it here I’ll reply here.

  The Premium Plan upgrade does not include premium themes. If you wish to use a premium theme on your WordPressdotcom site, you would need to buy a license for the premium theme separately. That license would be available as long as your site is hosted here on WordPressdotcom.

  In other words, if you move your site to a different hosting provider (like BlueHost), you would not be able to take the premium theme you licensed here with you.
