Buying a theme

  Hi!
  We want to buy a theme for our self-hosted blog. Is a there a way to just buy and download it or we necessarily have to create a “fake” blog on wordpress.com to do this?

  Themes for sale on WordPress.com won’t work on your self-hosted site, so definitely don’t purchase them here. :)

  Some premium themes sold on WordPress.com also have a self-hosted version available through the theme developer’s site or some other third party.

  If you tell me what theme you’re interested in buying I can try to point you in the right direction.
