  How do I buy the domain mapping? Do I have to buy at least the $99 a year upgrade. I was hoping to just pay the $13…

  Anyone even new accounts should be able to buy just the domain mapping for $13.-/yr – you should not need to buy the overpriced $99.-/yr Up-Sell package

  I have a domain that I am transferring from WA to here simply because they host through here and it’s what I’ve been using so far to build my website. The domain forum seems to say we can pay just $13 a year to host a domain we already own (and then of course pay extra for other things) but all I can seem to find is the things like the premium upgrades. Do I have to do these upgrades to map a domain? If not how do I do it?

  WordPress.COM is not set up for incoming domain name transfers – the domain name needs to stay registered not here

  What is the base WordPress.COM blog you want to map to?

  You can’t buy an upgrade without having a blog

  Yes you should be able to map a domain name to a blog here for $13.-/yr

  I am also looking into buying the $13 domain mapping. I can’t seems to find it either.

  Ok, we found it, it is under “store” under “dashboard”.

  You can pick $13 p/yr domain mapping there.
