buying domain name duplicated blog

I wanted to register a blog with wordpress.com under the domain name madisonbybike.com. It didn’t work the first time I tried and I ended up with just madisonbybike.wordpress.com without the private URL.
I tried again and ended up with madisonbybike.com linked to a new blog & dashboard address madisonbybikedotcom.wordpress.com Meanwhile I’d started editing the original madisonbybike.wordpress.com blog.
Right now I have two blogs with identical names and near identical dashboard addresses. I’d like the madisonbybike.com to be linked to madisonbybike.wordpress.com if I can somehow move the domain. If not I can delete madisonbybike.wordpress.com & start again with selecting the theme, etc. for the madisonbybikedotcom.wordpress.com blog. It’s been more than 2 days and haven’t heard back from support. I’d really like to get moving on this project. Suggestions on how to proceed? Thanks! Ann
