Buying Domain without yearly subscription.

    Hi, I am not new in WordPress and I have a website before and I stopped the domain billed yearly for $18 and now I want to make another website and I’m kind of lost now because what I understand is I cannot have just the domain anymore unless I pay the yearly plan? Is it possible to get just the domain or I really have to upgrade the plan to be able to use a customized domain? Thank you

    The domain mapping/domain ONLY option was removed last year. Those who kept their domain mapping arrangements up to date are grandfathered in, but those who allowed theirs to expire are out of luck.

    Domains are no longer available for purchase or mapping individually. They are included with WordPress.com Premium. This change has been made as we work to offer the best combination of value and performance for users while still offering a completely free product for those who do not wish to purchase any upgrades.
