Buying domains

  If I buy my domain will people still be able to find my site with the old URL that includes wordpress in it? I have sent out some resumes that have the unpaid URL on it.

  Hi @nandre37, sure. If you buy a plan and add a domain, anyone who types the old address will be seamlessly sent to the new one. The plan gets rid of ads and gives you direct support, too. It’s quite nice.

  If you set up the domain elsewhere, you can either link your existing site to the new one, or buy a Site Redirect upgrade.
