Buying ten credits for domain redirecting

  Hi

  I’ve searched everywhere on the site for this and I can’t find the option anywhere. I want to redirect my blog to my domain but I can’t find the option to purchase the ten credits needed to do so. The updates page only allows members to purchase credits for CSS and more space on the WP site. My question is (rather obviously, I suppose) about finding the place to purchase credits for this purpose.

  I don’t see it either. Looks like they forgot it when they modified the Upgrades page.

  Found it. When you go into Dashboard -> Upgrades -> Domains and type in a domain, it will take you to the buy credits page.

  you can also get to it from Dashboard > Options > Domains

  I still cannot find the page.

  I inserted a domain but was not redirected to the page where I could buy credits.

  I am into italian version pages.

  Want to enter a Belgian domain: zapdog.be for zapdog.wordpress.com. Link to credits nowhere to be found…

  Read the thread that you’re posting in….

  Dashboard -> Upgrades -> Domains -> Type in teh domain and it will take you to where you need to be.

  I read the thread, filled out the domain, and am referred to a page with the following text (no links to Credit Purchasing included…)

  Domains
  Credits
  Domain mapping is available for 10 credits per domain per year, registration not included. You have 0.00 credits. You will have to purchase additional credits via PayPal. Note that some forms of payment (eChecks) may take several days to process.

  Possible problem with zapdog.be
  We were unable to verify that zapdog.be is pointing to WordPress.com. If you own this domain, follow the directions below to get it ready for your blog. If you don’t own it, try a different name to see if something else is available. If the domain is available, you may be able to register it with another registrar and then map it to your blog.

  How to fix it
  Using the DNS tools provided by your domain registrar, remove any existing nameservers and add the following:

  NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
  Then come back here and try again. It may take several hours for our system to recognize the changes.

  You don’t purchase credits anymore. It will take you straight to Paypal with the bill.

  Zapdog, please read what you just copied and pasted. It’s tell you what to do. (You have to change the namesevers to what the system is telling you.)

  Dr Mike,

  Had a similar problem with my site expad.wordpress.com – the button is missing on both domains pages on a sadish theme.
  I sent feedback and was told to upgrade my Firefox or try using Safari, both of which I did, to no avail. The button to buy credits just isn’t there.

  I emailed feedback again to updated them on progress and have heard nothing since.

  Any suggestions?
