buying the domain

I actually have a few questions….I would like to sell an ebook through my blog where there is a link to click on so I wondered if I could do that or if I purchased the domain name could I do that?? Also, if I purchase the domain name what does that mean for me?? Does the blog then act like a website of sorts where I can add affiliate sites and such?? Also how do I go about purchasing the domain…..
Just curious because I am working on an ebook and would like to have a place to sell it and not sure how to go about all of it….thanks!!!The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
