Buying Theme

I’m currently moving from Blogspot to WordPress and was looking at a premium them the purchase. Will a theme from Theme Forest come with all the plugins or will I have to purchase more to make it look like they do in in the demos? If I do have to purchase more how do I find out how many?

On WordPress.com you are not allowed to upload your privately purchased 3rd-party themes. You may select and activate themes from the theme showcase https://theme.wordpress.com/ or from your blog’s Dashboard > Appearance > Themes
As of now there are 373 themes to choose from inclusive of approx. 175 premium themes. Some WordPress.com themes are available for purchase on ThemeForest but those ones cannot be installed in your WordPress.com blog.
You can not install plugins on your WordPress.com blog.

There are lots of pros and cons. For me, the troubles of managing multiple self-hosted blogs has been a reason to stick with WordPress.com. It’s very fast, secure, and reliable. WP.com support rocks!
With some efforts and hit-and-trial you may pin-down a suitable theme for your blog. If you feel there are many limitations, you may try going self-hosted for a while. Hosting isn’t pricey any more.

Is going self hosted the only way I can use one of those themes?
Yes, ThemeForest themes can only be used on a self-hosted site.

Please give us the theme name, a link to view the theme, and—most importantly—why you like it and would love to have it on WordPress.com.
Please search the forum first for a suggestion on the same theme. If it exists, add your vote to the same topic and add a note about why you like the theme.
That way others can show support for that theme. Cheers!
