    If I buy a wordpress plan then will my domain (xxx.wordpress.com) will become xxx.com? What happens to the links (cross links). What happens to google searches to which the pages were mapped to? Will I be loosing to get my own domain name by purchasing a wordpress account?

    Hi there!

    When you purchase any of our paid plans, you will be able to register a custom domain – this will not happen automatically.
    Once you registered a custom domain, the free subdomain will redirect to that new address.
    As for Google results, it will take some time for Google to start showing your new domain, however, as mentioned, the old address will be redirecting to the new one so your visitors will find your site anyway.
