Buying wordpress upgrades as a present

Can you buy wordpress upgrades as a present for someone else? My significant other has a wordpress blog and mentioned the upgrades to me previously. I wanted to surprise her by upgrading her account. I was unable to find a number to contact wordpress support or find an answer to the question.

Don’t bump threads. It’s rude. We know how to find unanswered threads, and in the meantime you could have done a forum search and found your answer: you used to be able to but now you can’t.

Please do not bump. We’ll get to you. The volume on the forum is high right now due to some technical difficulties outside of WordPress.
Updates are not available for gifts. This is something the team has considered but currently they must be purchased by the site owner.
Consider making up a card with the value of the upgrade and the reasons you recommend them, and sit with that person as they upgrade. Sometimes the togetherness of the moment makes the “surprise” even better.
