By when can I have my refund?

  I need a self-hosted blog. I do not want a wordpress.com blog. Can I get a refund?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  With a domain name, I would strongly suggest you not cancel. You can use the domain on any site (WordPress.com or WordPress.org). When canceling a domain, it isn’t immediately available for re-purchase and there’s no guarantee someone won’t buy it in the time between when it does return back to the marketplace and when you’re able to repurchase it.

  We can still cancel and refund it for you, if you wish, and confirm that you understand that it won’t be available immediately and perhaps not at all.

  If you keep the domain, you can choose whatever host you wish (we have a few options at http://get.wp.com/hosting/ though there are a large number of options) and you can change your nameservers to your new host (and I’m happy to help with that too).

  Thanks for your response here. I figured out to change the Domain Name Sever or “DNS” and now am good to go!
