Bypassing a plug-ins error that locks me out of a domain/blog.

I have a self-hosted blog that I don’t have ready access to. I was trying to add a plug-in to my site and have encountered an error that effectively locks me out of the site/tools/admin. Is there a way besides starting over on the domain register’s side to get back into the editor?
