  Hey,

  I want to create a community platform(website) in which people can create their own profile and upload objects they would like to loan other people – such as loaning a screwdriver for 5$ a day. And then other people who would like to borrow could contact them and maybe pay via the website.
  Is it possible to create a website like this with
  dose WordPress have the right features for it?

  You might be able to create a site like this where others can have their accounts.

  For that, however, you’d need some third-party plugins and to be able to install those you’ll want plan Business or eCommerce.
