Cached Images From Blogger Not Loading On WordPress.com

  Several years ago I migrated a blog from Blogger onto the Fresh & Clean theme with WordPress.com. I noticed recently that very few of the cached images from Blogger are loading when the old posts are visited. I’ve tried easy steps such as clearing the cache and cookies in my various browsers. Here is an example of a post that was migrated over where none of the images are loading:

  Highway 49 Road Trip – The Yuba River, Downieville, Sierra City, Sierra Valley And More…

  Hi Justin,

  For me, the majority of the images are loading on that page, but a few that aren’t. In trying to load the pictures directly, I’m inconsistently seeing errors. For example, this image ( http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_0dld9b-clRw/R7zM8o0SRhI/AAAAAAAAA_0/QruMA-LCEMw/s400/DSC04557.JPG ) returns a Redirect Loop error in one browser when viewed directly (not on WordPress.com), but in another it loads fine.

  Since this is being pulled directly from Blogspot/Blogger, my hypothesis is there may be something on Blogspot’s end regarding image caching.
