  Hi I’m anticipating high traffic to the website on Sunday May 7th for folks watching a live stream. I’ve been told to enable caching and cannot find that anywhere on this dashboard. Can someone please advise? Eager to resolve this problem. A very high estimate would be 30-50k visitors.

  The only details I can find are in the vip developer documentation, but the overview section applies to WP.com sites in general:

  The person who advised you to use caching probably thinks you’re using the self-hosted version of WordPress (WordPress.org).

  Self-hosted WordPress sites on cheap shared hosting would crumble under heavy traffic, but WordPress.com sites should be fine.

  Thank you for confirming. profileincourageaward.org is hosted with WordPress.com. Any information you were given about a self hosted WordPress installation is irrelevant.
