May I add link to “Cafe Press” in my blog roll with this link:

Earlier today I removed the content of my blogroll (which was getting TOO long) to a page called “Links” and I populated the blogroll with some of MY other sites instead.

A discreet link to your business in the sidebar or an About page is permitted.
One discreet link to Amazon per blog is okay, but if the primary purpose of the blog is to drive traffic to affiliate programs that’s not allowed.

If this isn’t his or her business and it isn’t an Amazon link then we’re looking at a huge change – IMO a change that’s bound to bring us an influx of blog scraping sploggers.

Uh, oh…looks like drmike Moderator and I (niania Member) got Mark Key Master’s response at the same time and were responding at the same time too.

Well it’s a link in a blogroll I guess like amazon but it has not picture and I am not ever mentioning it in the posts or in the pages. It’s just there.

i say no becuase amazon, we can’t include affliate code with link. cafepress woud be affliate link and payment.

but if mark says yes, he has near final word and i can’t overrule hime. it just doesnt match up with previous policy.

i really really this keyboard.

I think the point, from what I understand Matt voicing is that wordpress sites, hosted for free by wordpress.com are not to be used directly for commerce. My understanding is the point is for free expression and sharing of information and building a dynamic and rich (I don’t mean money-wise) community. It is in that spirit that I am building sites that are hosted at wordpress.com. I also have sites hosted at Blue Host (wordpress platform) and at Blogger (subdomains of blogspot.com).

I do have another question however. I will open another thread.

Oops! – You got all lost in all that rhetoric and you forgot to answer the question above.
