  Hi all

  have a site that has a house for rent and I want to be able to offer a calendar that I can blank out dates when the house is not available…any thoughts?

  Hello

  You can accomplish something like this by embedding a Google Calendar into your site. You can read about how to do that at https://en.support.wordpress.com/google-calendar/

  I would suggest that you set up a Google Calendar specifically for the rental house and create an Event called “Booked” or “Not Available” for any day that the house is not available.

  If you look at the sample graphic in the above link, you’ll see the “Holidays in the United States” example. Your calendar could look similar with a colored bar on the days that are booked. Google allows you to customize what colors are used, so you can match it to your site branding.
