calendar and time settings

The calendar and time settings are incorrect on our blog. How do I fix this?

Go to options > general and set your GMT offset for your timezone.

I don’t understand ,can you tell me like your talking to a 4 yr. old? My date needs to be changed,I somehow messed it up,and it messes up my stats,It’s aleast a day behind. You can’t sjust type in the date. What do I do?

It will not do anything to your stats. Your stats are ALWAYS set on Greenwich Mean Time (or whatever the nerds are calling it now). You cannot change the time they click over to a new day.

You CAN change the time zone your blog posts are listed in. You do that by going to Dashboard->Settings->General and putting it in there. If you’re eight hours after GMT, you add eight hours, and so on.

Go to your WP admin screen.

Click “Setting” link (on right side of page, in header/top area)

    Scroll down to “Timezone” section.

    Set your timezone offset there.

    Click Save

This will fix the dates on your posts. However, I’m pretty sure it won’t fix the stats. I’m pretty sure all of the stats are based on GMT, so if you’re someone in US it will appear that the next day will start sometime in the afternoon/evening. Tomorrow (in regards to stats) starts on my blog around 5 pm (since I have -7 GMT offset).
