  Hi!
  Just wanted to know:
  Can you customize your Calendar widget on your Sidebar so that you can put your own events on it instead of it showing the posts you made on those days?

  I am afraid that you cannot do that as it is only setup to show the posts you made on that day. I am not aware of any ‘event calendar’ that can be added to a wordpress.com hosted blog.
