Calendar for upcoming gigs?

  I was wondering how to configure the calendar to not show my website/blog updates, but to display a chronographic listing of my upcoming concerts. Right now it just shows days I’ve posted a blog. How can I get posts from my schedule page to automatically show up somehow in the sidebar as upcoming concerts. Is there any special coding needed for this?

  Very new to wordpress, btw.

  The Calendar widget can’t do what you want. But if you can create a calendar that gives you a Flash embed code, then it might be possible to make the calendar display either in the side bar or in a blog post.

  There’s another option as well. Embedding a Google Calendar in a wordpress.com blog is not possible in the conventional sense as iframes cannot be embedded into wordpress.com blogs due to the security risk.   I really like the Google Calender/RSS widget workaround. I have it on my social media blog, and you can see what it looks like at http://raincoastermedia.com but of course the way the widget displays depends on your theme.
