Calendar Language?
-
For some reason the days and months are in another language. I have no idea how to change that setting back to English.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello revjimmybookreview,
I don’t currently see a calendar on your blog. Are you using a plugin, or referring to the calendar-style archive sidebar widget? If it is a calendar plugin, what is the name of it?
-
It’s the calendar that’s used when I schedule blog posts. It’s in French. All the language settings I’ve chosen are English.
Also, when I look up the stats, the months are in French.

OK, thank you for clarifying.
It sounds like your WordPress.com account interface language may be set to French, while your Blog Language is set to English. You can change your interface language on your Account Settings page.
Here is more detail, with screenshots of where the two different language settings are:

Thanks for your help.
I checked and they’re both set to English. en-English: Interface and Blog.
The calendar used to be in English. I don’t know when it switched, but I noticed it today. Really weird.

OK – if both of those settings are set to English, something on the back end may need to be looked at by a staff member. I’m going to tag your post for moderator review so we can get this escalated.

If it makes you feel any better – it isn’t just you!
I was just looking at my own post scheduling settings, and the word “Today” changed to “Aujourd’hui” as I watched.
For mods: I tried logging out and back in, and also changing my interface language to French and back to English. The post scheduling day is still in French.

Well, that’s frustrating. Makes me feel better that I didn’t do anything wrong. Must be a sitewide issue. Thanks for your time!

You’re welcome! I wish I could help further, but I’m sure staff members will resolve it as soon as they can.

More detail on reproducing the error, for staff:
1. Sign into WordPress.com in incognito Chrome
2. Click Write, then Status on the right
3. At this point, the date reads May 23, 2017
4. Click on that dateThat is when everything changes to French, including where the date was originally in English under Status.
Same behavior in Internet Explorer and Edge.

Is there a way to flag your own blog for this problem? I just started having the same issue today on my Massage Blog. Very odd.
Both interfacing and blog languages are English, but the Calendar is in French.

Hi there,
Thanks for reporting this. The issue should be fixed now, but you might need to clear your browser cache and refresh WordPress.com before you’ll see the change.
