  I would like to use a calendar of events with my blog. However, I am using the blog online so I do not know how to add a calendar. Is this possible at all or do I have to download wp and start from there instead of using it only online? Thanks.

  Download wp? What is that? And we need a url to your blog. Not all themes can do the same things…

  If and only if you are referring to a free blog from and being free hosted by wordpress.com you will be posting to the correct forum. We require a link to the blog in question to confirm whether or not you are posting to the correct support forum for your software.

  There is no FTP access to free hosted wordpress.com blogs and we cannot install individual plugins into free hosted wordpress.com blogs.

  If you can provide a link to your blog, and perhaps paste the code for the calendar here between code tags as shown below, we can take a look at it and see if there is a workaround.
