calendar plugin for worldpress blog

  Hallo worldpress team,

  I recently set up a worldpress blog for internal communication within my studio (http://szenografieklasse.wordpress.com/) and found out that the calendar widget that is available is not sufficient for us to use as a timetable and inform about upcoming dates.
  I would like to integrate the google calendar as a plugin, but found out that this is not possible due to security reasons.
  Is there a way to allow us to use this plugin? Or do you know of a different comparable option?
  This feature is very important for internal communication within the class.
