Calendar widget

After adding the widget, it shows today, June 13, is June 14. Is that a widget problem or is there a way to correct the calendar?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I do have the time zone shown as Denver. In addition, I see that WordPress showed the date of my first post as June 14, even though it was the 13th.

Calendar widgets will automatically highlight the dates that you publish Posts, not Pages on and there is no means of configuring them. https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/calendar-widget/
See https://en.support.wordpress.com/google-calendar/ for the Google calendar.

Thanks, but as I look at the calendar, it is actually wrong – it shows today, Tuesday June 14, as June 15. And, as I said, I did my first post on the 13th, but it showed the 14th. What could be causing that? I finally removed the calendar. I’ll put it back, so you can see it. This is my first attempt at a blog and this part is really frustrating.

Our blogs display posts in reverse chronological order, unless there is a timezone issue or a sticky posts issue.
The default timezone is UTC time. You can reset your timezone here > Settings > General Select the closest city to you in the same timezone in the drop-down menu you see there and then click “save changes”.
Edit the post, change the datestamp in the Publish module, and click Update.
All Posts are found here > Dashboard > Posts > All Posts
http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php
*replace “/NAME_OF_BLOG” with the actual name of your blogYou hover over the title of the post and click the Edit link, then edit the datestamp in the Publish module and click update.
Note that you can examine these images so you see how to edit posts and change datestamps and timestamps where required.

Posted on June 14, 2016If that does not rectify the post order then how many sticky posts have you created? http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/#sticky-posts

Again, thanks. Here is the link to my blog:

I did edit the datestamp for the first post, so that is correct now. And I just had a “duhhh” moment. I just realized that instead of starting the week with Sunday, this one starts with Monday.
I appreciate your taking the time to help! -
