Calendar Widget is inaccurate
-
I do a daily blog called, 365photooftheday2015.wordpress.com. I just realized that the blog has INCORRECTLY dated 28 different entries from this past year. Thus, those entries are inaccurate now. I need a way to correct this problem immediately. Ironically, this happened last year with my blog, 365, Album of the Day 2014, but it just did it for the first four days of the year. I must have noticed it because I went back and noted in the entries the actual date that the blog was entered. Why is this site changing the date that I make my entry? If this mistake can not be rectified, then there is no sense at all in using any of the WordPress sites. I have only 63 days left in this year for my current blog. I do not want to stop now, but I am HIGHLY frustrated at this issue. Any assistance in fixing this problem would be welcomed!

Hi there,
It’s up to you to provide the correct URL of the site you refer to when posting here. Thanks for doing that because otherwise all we can rely on is what the software automatically provides.
You can change the website URL here https://wordpress.com/me/account
To confirm your timezone is correct know the default timezone is UTC time. You can reset your timezone here > Settings > General. Select the closest city to you in the same timezone in the drop-down menu you see there and then click “save changes”.
You can edit the post and change the datestamp and timestamp and click update. I know you are not scheduling a post but these images may be helpful:

timethief,
I am starting to try and fix the issues I am having. I followed your advice regarding setting my time zone. I have NO ABILITY to select any city or anything at all regarding a time zone in Settings>General. Please advise. I am now going to try your date stamp advice.
Thanks,
Annette

Cancel that last message. This is really quite embarrassing. I just stumbled up what you were referring too.
SORRY.
