Call out to wordpress, image uploading is not working

    Dear word press
    thank you so much for your free site, appreicate it
    I would like to inform you that me, and many other people can not upload images anymore since the change
    many have upgraded flash and cleared cache and browser and its still not working correctly
    and we would like to say please can you help us, acknowledge that this is an issue
    give better instructions
    or maybe even give the option of the old system which worked just fine

    and help in this matter would be greatly appreicated

    I am having the same problem. The image uploading worked fine a few days ago. The gallery is not working and the sizing feature disappeared from the image loader. Heck, I can’t upload at all in either Firefox or Safari. I use a lot of photos on my site. Help!!!

    Are you using the Flash uploader or the Browser uploader? The Browser uploader works like the old one. Resize the images using the image icon in the post.

    Can’t get that far Raincoaster. It’s refusing to go to the browser. May be a problem with AOL?

    You’re stuck on the Flash uploader. Use the Browser Uploader, which you get to via a text link on the Upload Media pop-up. If you cannot get even to there, it could be a problem with AOL or it could be a problem with Adblocking software, which sometimes interferes with these popups.

    We’re aware some people still have problems with the uploader. We don’t know why. If you can provide details, we can investigate. Without details we can do nothing.

    At a minimum we need to know your browser and OS version, exactly what you’re clicking on starting at the New Post page, and exactly what happens when you run into trouble (error message in particular – statements like “doesn’t work” and “nothing happens” are too ambiguous). If you send that to support we will investigate.

    Support tickets are full of responses saying “thanks, clearing the cache worked”.
