Calling latest post into a subpage as ‘News’.

  I am trying to feed in the most recent post from the Blog page of my website to my Homepage. I know how to accomplish this by calling it into plain HTML, but I recently created a website for a friend that is using the WordPress framework as a content management system, where all of the HTML coding is within the ‘pages’ of the WordPress backend.

  Is there a line of code such as ‘wp_list_posts’ OR how is this done? Thanks in advance!!

  Can we have a link to the wordpress.COM blog you are talking about? I think from your description it is self-hosted so you need to inquire over at http://wordpress.ORG/support/ which is where self-hosted wordpress blogs are supported. This forum is for blogs hosted here on the wordpress.COM free hosting service and our software is different.

  If you do have a wordpress.com blog that you are referencing, it cannot be done. If you are hosted elsewhere where you have access to the files, then head over to the other forums as there are loads of resources on doing that type of option.
