Campaign for Governor of Maryland (School Project)

    Hello

I’m inviting others to view my website http://govscience.wordpress.com/ It is a school project, were I am pretending to run for the Governor of Maryland. Therefore I fabricate everything about myself as a candidate for Governor.

    Visit the site.

    Thanks

    Any suggestion to improve it?

Fabrication and pretension is all fine and dandy, but realize you are posting in a forum for wordpress.com support where people will only help you with technical questions about blogs on wordpress.com. You can’t really expect advice about your topic.

    Best of luck, go’v’nor.

Well okay One technical question I have is.

How can you rearrange the order of your postings, for example maybe I want “post A” to be the second post from the top down and I want “post B” to be the fourth post from the top down.

    Please answer thanks.

    pkscience,
If the actual dates don’t matter (you are after all fabricating a scenario), then edit the dates of the posts so that they will show in order. WordPress.com displays the most recent post on top (first) so older posts would be below. Dec 1 above Nov 30. Nov 29 above Nov 28. Nov 25 below Nov 26 etc. If date sequence matters, you can edit the posts to make it look logical just by editing the dates. If you have subscribed readers, that may become confusing to them, but if this is a short-term school project that won’t really matter.

If the dates matter, then I think there is a way to do it with “sticky posts” but I have not used that feature. It might get confusing. I don’t know exactly how they work. They may still show dates? And you would have to write them in order??? That is likely not what you need?
