Campaigning against the SLOW WordPress.

Unfortunately I am short of options. This is the third time I claim on this matter.
I still use WordPress as my main blog host. I feel as if I were trapped, due the fact that migrating for another blog host would be such a big task.

I repeat : too, too, too slow. Can’t work this way.

I am sure now : the US$ 27 I payed for my domain (www.caiogracco.com), through WordPress, is not worth.

Must I simply give up and change my blog host?

I began spreading the word against WordPress. I am just one single consumer. Maybe this number can change. Dozens, hundreds, thousands, millions, maybe? Well, I am quite focused in doing this constantly.
Looking forward receiving a quick and satisfatory answer.

As far as I can tell, your blog is loading at the same speed as every other WordPress.com blog (which is pretty fast). To be clear, the domain mapping upgrade won’t change a thing on the way it is hosted, it’s still the same code, database and template, just by another name.

    Could you try:

    • Opening other WordPress.com blogs to see if the problem’s the same?
    • Opening them on another computer, connected to a different ISP?
    • Finally, clearing cache and cookies to see if it improves?
