Can´t like anything on wordpress

I am using the TOR browser to access word press. I can live with almost all the issues I am having: I can´t post using the new posting window, I can´t open the notification area, and the “my sites” page is always empty. Fine, that’s the price for using TOR.
However, I am unable to like any posts. I´ve tried letting word press third-party cookies through, I´ve messed with the HTTPS settings, disabled all add ons (except TOR, of course), I´ve tried liking posts in any way I could possible like them, the results are the same. Either a new window opens and closes (and thats it) or it shows that I liked the post but the like disappears as soon as I leave the current page. I can leave comments without any problems. Please don´t reply with generic instructions, I´ve read all of them. It still doesnt work. I know of other people who use TOR and dont face the same issues. I´d appreciate your input.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

TOR recommends using Firefox. That´s what I am using. I am not certain what browsers other users use.

They need to be using one of the browsers and versions of them WordPress.COM supports.

i think the main issue with TOR is the js (not allowed).
plus the security certificate problems (your site will not have a security certificate, so it flags the wp one).
I dont think this has anything to do with browsers per se.
i have never used TOR with anything other than firefox.
btw i tried backdoor ways to access my site using TOR, but it’s obvious wp deliberately disables the ability of TOR users to access their own site.
however you can do trivial things here and there.
not of the big vendors like tor. can’t monetize traffic that way, which is why they do this. -
I agree, TOR users are usually on their own. How dare we wanting to protect our privacy? Js is the only thing I did not try to disable. Funny thing is, I can do everything that TOR usually has trouble with: Watch videos, see animations, upload pictures, etc. But that simple little like just doesn’t want to work.

May I kindly say that when a thread has been tagged for Staff, who work froward in chronological order in accord with datestamps and timestamps, as woud be expected, every time you post or anyone else posts into the thread a new timestamp is created, and that means it takes longer to get a Staff response?

The Like button is built in a similar way. It sounds like your browser is receiving the resources from widgets.wp.com, which is why you can see the Like button, but actually “pressing the button” is really just an event listener in javascript. Blocking the use of javascript will block the ability to Like.
Thank you for letting us know of the issue, though. I’ll make a note with our development team that further support of Tor users should be considered and link to this thread.

Thank you for your reply. The admin bar works without any problems. The new Stats site, however, doesnt work for me either.
I figured it had to do with JavaScript since it is pretty much the only thing left. Well, no likes for me.
