Can a commentor to one of my WP posts put a virus onto my site?

    Is it possible that someone can put a virus or otherwise block my blog in a comment they posted? I received an e mail via wordpress.com that someone had put a comment on my blog? I approved it, and then found that my site was no longer be accessible on THAT computer. Fortunately, on a different computer, my wordpress site works ok. I am especially suspicious because when I checked the commentor’s IP address and website listed in the e mail from wordpress, both were bogus. If it does turn out that my wordpress.com site has been compromised, is it ‘repairable’?

    That is very very unlikely. WordPress.com blocks virtually all code that could be used for malicious purposes.
