Can a deleted blog be retrieved?

  I created a blog for a friend, as she didn’t know how to do it, then I turned it over to her, but remained as her co admin. She has been absent now for over 2 months. My question, if I were to delete it, and she comes back, can it be retrieved or must it be started over? Or must I just make it private, until I hear from her? Is there any limit as to how much posting must be done, to keep it active?

  DON’T DELETE IT – once a blog is deleted that name is gone forever – you can just let it set if you want – there is no requirement that anyone use a blog – you can set it to Private but that keeps everyone out.

  You did not have a link to a live blog an normally that is required for accurate help.

  No I’m sorry it cannot. Once a blog is deleted it’s gone forever. There are 3 warnings and a cobfirmation link in an email clarifying this. The URL cannot be recycled and reused by the person who deleted it or by anyone else.
