Can a page be created that has all your posts in list format?
-
Hey guys, quick question:
Does WordPress support the ability to create a page that shows all of my posts in a list format (without the excerpts)? For example, if someone came to my blog and wanted to look at recipes, instead of scrolling through all of my past posts the visitor could just view a list of them. I’ve been searching the Dashboard for quite a while, but to no avail.
Thanks for the help!

categories do that, custom menus section in support will teach you how to do what your looking for too.

I’ve tried doing that before, but the custom menu that I’m using right now still displays the full posts when I click on it. Is there an option on the custom menu to just show the title listings?

You could do it manually, which takes 5 seconds a day or week. I have a page (not post) called List of posts, which I just update.

Oh true, wow, I can’t believe I didn’t think of just writing it with HTML code haha. Thanks man!

The answer is “yes”. There is an Archives shortcode. See here please > http://en.support.wordpress.com/archives-shortcode/
