Can a post be changed to a page?

How can I see the themes other blogs use?
A blogger wrote that he looked at the code of the EP blog. He was able to know the theme. I found a blog whose theme I like and am interested to know which one it is.

Does the community have a provision in place whereby a blog can be submitted for review, so suggestions for improvement can be made?

Have started to browse the learning resources, didn’t see answers to these. Thanks to anyone who can satisfy my immediate thirst for knowledge.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

On WordPress.com blogs they always display the theme name in the footer.

We don’t have a critique forum anymore; it got abused and covered in spam, so staff banned it.

To change a post to a page, you have to manually copy/paste it and add in the title, publish, then delete the original post.

    Additional remarks:
    • Copypasting the entire content of a post to turn it into a page has to be done in the Text (=code) editor, not the Visual.
    • The name of the theme in the footer credits is a link to the Theme Showcase page that provides details on the theme.
    • No critique forum, but we often make suggestions when you ask something specific, or if we happen to notice a problem on your blog although you may be asking about a different issue.

    Justpi,

Very helpful comments. I clicked the link of your username and browsed the page. Surprised to learn of the issues with WP.

Do you feel my level of asking questions puts a burden on volunteers like yourself? Or is there still some feeling of satisfaction in helping out a person new to WP like me? Just answer if you feel so….

If we feel it’s a burden, we just stop answering. It’s the perfect system for passive aggressive people like me. I, personally, never answer “what do you think of my blog” questions, but some people like them.

    @emanatepresence:
Short answer is: “burden” and “volunteer” are mutually exclusive!
We’re not employees, so we’re not obliged to do anything: as raincoaster said, we reply if and when we feel like it. Both raincoaster and I reply to a small percentage of the questions we’re capable of replying.
    So, even shorter answer: shoot!
