Can a private blog be shared with just a link?

  I have a private blog set up for a group of me + 13 women. I wanted it to be a place where we could share info about each other and our group – without it being open to the public. Half the group has had a very hard time accessing the blog. I went in and added them all as users – but they were directed to a lengthy log in process – it was hard to log in without having to set up their own blog – which they did not want to do. It is possible to send them just a link to see the blog updates?

  As long as a blog is Private, a person needs a WordPress.COM account (but no blog) and be invited as a user to a blog –

  sorry no real shortcut other than having your blog open to the public, you can if you want discourage search engines with an open site, but not as secure and anyone can visit that has a link
