can a widget be edited?
-
I want to edit the default Meta widget, and remove the Entries RSS and Comments RSS from the widget.
Is there a way to change the existing widget?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This may be what you need:
Go into the wordpress admin.
Hover your mouse over appearance.
Click widgets.
Go to the widget you want to edit and just click on it to deal with all the details.I’m not sure if that’s what you need, hope it helps.

The meta widget is not required at all. https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/meta-widget/ I don know why you would want to exclude the RSS Feed links as it’s common knowledge they exist, and what they are on any wordpress.COM blog is also common knowledge, and you cannot remove them from the source.
Do you have a Premium upgrade or are you willing to pay for one annually to do this removal from the widget?
See here for details on purchasing the annually renewable Premium bundle http://store.wordpress.com/plans/premium/ that contains a custom design upgrade required for CSS editing:
