Can a WordPress Blog be moved to another host?

  If, down the road, I want to move my blog to a third party host, can this be done? Will all the content come also?

  Yes, using the Export feature (Manage / Export on the old blog, Manage / Import on the new one).

  Recent versions of WordPress (2.5+) will move all of your uploaded files as well as posts. Older versions don’t import files.

  Thank you. I was going to use a custom 4 column template, but it is 2.0. I should probably look for a 4 column 2.5 template.

  You can’t upload templates here. You have to pick from the list of existing templates or purchase the CSS upgrade to customize an existing template.

  If you are talking about a blog that’s not on WordPress.com servers, then you need to ask those questions over at WordPress.org.
