Can ads on my blog be moved slightly away from my actual posts?

  I have a poetry blog and have recently posted two poems for my granddaughters. They are not registered users so when they look at my posts the ads for brain training are right there at the bottom of my poems. I know wordpress has to use ads and I don’t mind that but can they be anywhere else on my blog and not on every poem as it is really in your face, I was surprised myself when I looked without signing in.

  …the general answer we get is ‘WordPress tries very hard to make them as discrete as possible…’.

  I’ve tagged this so a moderator or staff member can hopefully give you a more satisfying answer… but I think that’s pretty much as good as it’ll get.

  Thanks for responding and I do appreciate that blogging is free so money has to come from somewhere, maybe that particular ad will move on soon and the next one will be more discreet.
