Can an administrator help me remove an undesirable reference to my name?

  I need assistance removing a slandering line from an individual’s word-press blog. I am applying for Jobs at this time, and a simple Google search of my name routes the user to a word-press blog in which my name is listed as an “interest” of the author. I have contacted the author and cordially asked him to please remove this simple line as the malicious and controversial nature of his blog can be hurtful to me and possibly end potential employment opportunities for me. He has not responded at all, and I am now asking for administrative assistance on this topic. I understand the sensitive nature of this request, yet I do not want any of my future potential withheld from me because of this individual’s blog. Thank you for your understanding. I do not wish to disclose the blog here.
