Can an entry be made sticky on its Category page ONLY?
-
I am hoping to make some posts sticky on their respective Category pages, WITHOUT having them sticky on the main (home) page…….is there a way?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, it’s not possible to hide those stickies without an upgrade plan which would allow you to customize the CSS to hide their display on your site’s front page.
However, some themes do display a Category description on category pages. If yours does, perhaps you can use that to your advantage.
You can edit a Category description by clicking the 3 dots at the end of each category on this page https://wordpress.com/settings/taxonomies/category/slothinacorktree.wordpress.com
Let me know if you need more help with that.

Hi Jennifer!
I should clarify….I’m using the Dyad 2 theme. It’s not that I want to ‘hide’ the posts from the main page slider, I just don’t want to make them sticky there…..but want to make some sticky on their category pages.
I will check the link you’ve provided and see if I can sort it out!

You’re welcome. Thanks for mentioning the theme. Interesting.
In Dyad2, sticky posts appear at the top on the site’s Posts page, but not at the top on Category pages.
