Can archive widget display links rather link to a new page?

  I’ve been trying to set up the archive widget for my blog. Currently, it has a dropdown menu organized by month, but clicking on a month takes you to a page with all of that month’s posts. This means that it’s impossible to just browse the archive and click on interesting titles, because you have to go to the month’s page to see them, at which point you’ve left the archive.

  I would like to have an archive where clicking on a month gives you a menu with titles and links to posts from that month, so a reader could easily browse month to month and click on titles that interest them. Is there a way to get the Archive widget to do that, or alternatively, is there another widget that can be used?

  Also, if anyone has tips about how to move a blog to another address, that would be appreciated.

  I figured out how to do this better with the Display Posts shortcode, so I’m marking this as resolved.
