Can authors and contributors see commenters' email addresses?

  Hey guys,

  I’m trying to figure out whether or not ‘authors’ and ‘contributors’ can see the e-mail addresses of people who comment on their posts. I want commenters to feel as though they can post anonymously, without the author knowing their email. Any tips on this?
