Can blog full of unique content use affilate to make some money?

Hello,
Im confused about no-ads policy of free wordpress blogs. I read rules regarding this but I find it very confusing. Can I use blog full of my own work (original funny pictures) for affilate program like affilate of websites offering Group buying? Is it possible to make some money this way (nothing serious, but better than nothing)? Im looking for a way to start making some money with tons of original pictures, but no one wants to pay for such content… so I would like to try wordpress blog.Thank you for your answers

There is only one advertising program called WordAds at WordPress.com. It’s for blogs on their own domains
