Can Bottom Widgets be moved to a 2nd column?

    I am new to WordPress, but not to blogging. I’ve used Blogger for some time, but decided to import my blog to WordPress, which it did without any glitches.

    I selected the ChaosTheory theme, which places the widgets at the bottom of the page. I don’t like the widgets at the bottom of the page, and prefer them at the side, though I love the ChaosTheory layout and colours. Perhaps I’m being greedy, but is there any way to move those bottom widgets? I am not familiar with CSS or HTML coding and have to do most things by clicking on options.

    Perhaps someone could just confirm for me that moving the bottom widgets to the side/2nd column is not possible.

    There is probably no way to do that. You may have to pick a different theme. If you look on the Presentation page, it’ll show the sidebars you have; if you’ve got more than one, try putting a widget in one of the others and see where it shows up. If it only has the one sidebar, then that stuff goes at the bottom and nowhere else on that theme.

    Thank you, Raincoaster. I’ve switched to Redoable Lite theme and quite like it.

    Only wish ChaosTheory had the sidebar widgets. Not a fan of bottom widgets.
